Two drivers were injured Friday afternoon in a crash near the Howell and Texas County line at U.S. 60 and 63, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Authorities said the mishap occurred when an eastbound 2013 Peterbilt driven by James E. Moore, 46, of Montgomery, Ala., was obstructed by a hillcrest and struck an eastbound 1993 GMC operated by James J. Gehlken, 73, of Mountain View.
The big rig was totaled. The other vehicle sustained moderate damage, the patrol said.
Traffic was blocked in the area for some time, the patrol said.
