Share Your Christmas is under way in Teas County. The drive helps children who need a boost at the holidays.

Organizers said applicants seeking Christmas help for 175 children have been received by the annual Share Your Christmas campaign.

The drive — in its 30th year — aids in bringing cheer to children in the county whose Christmas would be gloomy without extra help.

Those children represent 79 families.

The deadline to apply is Friday.

The campaign is situated in the basement of the Lions Club Den on North U.S. 63. In Houston. Pat Miller is the coordinator.
