Eighteen members of the choir at Houston High School received all-conference honors, including three who did so for a fourth time.
Seniors Elizabeth Harris, Elisa Williamson and Taylor Bryson were named all-conference all four years of their careers after receiving perfect scores Nov. 6 at this year’s auditions. About 200 students from the South Central Association conference auditioned for the 70-voice honors choir.
Selected from HHS were:
Seniors: Harris, Williamson, Bryson, Kathy Powell and Madi Dixon.
Juniors: Caleb Adkison and Keegan Spurlin.
Sophomores: Marley Stoops, Demi Creek, Lexi Morgan, Laura Monks, Jaycee Huff, Megan Morland, Tayler Ward and Elizabeth Scott.
Freshmen: Kaitlyn Root, Zeb Whitehouse and Sydney Anderson.
The HHS choir department is under the direction of Beth Williamson.
