Area residents can check if their name is on the state’s unclaimed property list in the county collector-treasurer’s office.
Texas County Collector-Treasurer Tammy Cantrell said the office now has an updated Missouri State Treasurer Unclaimed Property list available on CD. The public is welcome to stop by the office at the Texas County Administrative Center and view it on public computers. It also is available online at showmemoney.com.
The office is open 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
