Texas County school students return to classrooms this week after a break for summer.
Last-minute preparations are under way at each of the county’s seven school districts. All Texas County schools open on Thursday — with the exception of Summersville, which has its first day Wednesday.
A 16-page section was included in last week’s newspaper, which details calendars, faculty and other information, such as required school supplies and sports schedules.
