About 150 people attended a July 7 ice cream social in Cabool that was organized by Texas County Farm Bureau, which was joined by membership of the Ozarks Older Iron Club.
The event was held to allow the public to learn more about the Aug. 5 Primary Election ballot.
Attending were a representative of U.S. Rep. Jason Smith’s office, Sen. Mike Cunningham and Rep. Robert Ross and many county officials and board members from the sponsoring organizations.
Ballot amendments were summarized and a question-and-answer time held.
Homemade ice cream, pies and desserts were served.Â
