MARVIN DWAIN HAYES, JR. 

Marvin Dwain Hayes, Jr., 24, son of Marvin and Debbie (Phillips) Hayes, Sr., was born June 11, 1990, in Houston, Mo. He passed away on June 28, 2014, in Licking, Mo.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents, two uncles and a great aunt.

He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Debbie of the home; his son, Wyatt Ray Cross of Licking, Mo.; four sisters, Jennifer Holden of Bucyrus, Mo., Billie Pursifull of Raymondville, Mo., a twin sister Sarah Robbins of Bucyrus, Mo., and Stephanie Hayes of Bucyrus, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Matthew age 10, Sylvia age 5, Jaydin age 6, Hailey age 8, Skyler age 5, Natalie age 5, Isabella age 3 and Cortana age 1,

Dwain was a fun loving young man, and often a daredevil , willing to try anything new. He was an artist and gave many of his drawings to family and friends. Because of his interest in art, he became interested in doing tattoos, making patterns and even doing some tattoo work on others.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved going hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being with his Dad working horses.

Dwain loved his family and will be missed by the many family members and friends who knew him.

Services were 10 a.m. Thursday. July 3, at the Evans Funeral Home with Ben Pursifull officiating. Burial was in Ellis Prairie Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Hayes, Matt Pursifull, Steven Holden, Jr., Michael Cape, Ben Pursifull and Jerald Pursifull.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to The Dwain Hayes Memorial Fund. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
