LINDA BARNWELL

Linda Hayes Barnwell, 70, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, in Lebanon.

She was born July 23, 1943, in Houston, daughter of Raymond and Grace Kinserlow Hayes.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Community Baptist Church in Lebanon on Jan. 1, 2012.

She was a homemaker most of her life and raised many kids and grandkids. She loved to fish and did so up until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. She loved collecting angels.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Jack, Marvin and Willie.

Survivors include eight children, Sandy Blattel of Tunas, Tammy Fowler of Amarillo, Texas, Ernest Jr. of the home, Elizabeth Williams of Phillipsburg and Delmar Barnwell, Kimberly Mobbs, Shawn Jones and LaDonna Barton of Lebanon; 38 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three sisters, Marge Nelson of New London, Maxcine Manley of Rolla and Loretta May of Houston; a brother, Elmer Hayes of Cabool; and many other family members and friends.

Services are 1 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Ellis Prairie Cemetery.
