David Alan Jennings, 60, of Washington, Mo., passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, after a long battle with bipolar disorder and depression.
He was born June 29, 1953, in Rolla, son of Richard T. and wife Doris L. Cantrell Jennings.
He was an avid lover of art, music and literature. He loved finding antiques and collectible books.
He spent most of his adult life in Seattle, Wash. He worked in retail sales in the floor covering industry. At one time, he owned his own floor covering and interior design business. He was an artist who worked in multiple mediums, including drawings, photography, sculpture and collage, under the name “Teino.”
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dennis W. Jennings; and stepfather, G. Fred Fowler.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer M. Jennings of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Stephen D. Jennings of Washington, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Washington, Mo., in the near future.
