The monthly Houston school board meeting was delayed two days by Tuesday’s election.
The board, which regularly meets the second Tuesday of the month, will instead meet at 6 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Exceptional Child Cooperative. Among the agenda items are:
- Swearing in of new board member Russell Gaither. He ran unopposed to fill the vacancy of President Tom Dunn, who did not re-file.
- Election of new school board officers.
- Updates on progress of new construction related to the April 2013 bond issue.
- Recognition of Dunn for his time on the board.
- Resignations and hirings in closed session.
