Clark A. Dooley, 71, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2014, in Licking.

He was born July 27, 1942, near Salem, son of Virgel and Lucy Crow Dooley.

He traveled and opened Sears Stores and Montgomery Ward Stores. He also owned his own business.

He lived most of his life in St. Louis before moving to the farm six years ago when he retired from Yellow Freight Co after 30 years. He loved taking care of his Angus cattle herd.

Survivors include his daughter, Candice McWilliams of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; four brothers, E. Paul Dooley of Salem, James Dooley of St. Louis, Ray Dooley of Ohio and Virgel Frank Dooley of Granite City, Ill.; and numerous other family members and friends.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is noon until service time. Burial will be in Kissock Cemetery.
