DONNA SHOULTS

Donna Mae Olson Shoults, 81, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.

She was born March 5, 1932, in Jackson County, Minn., daughter of Herman and Cleo Olson. She and Anzel Shoults were married June, 15, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minn.

She devoted her life to serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, reading and taking care of her family.

She moved to the Licking area with her husband, the Rev. Anzel Shoults, and

pastored Licking Assembly of God from 1996 to 2006. She was also a devoted pastor’s wife to congregations in Battle Creek, Mich., Sikeston, St. Louis, Covina, Calif., Oak Grove, Wisc., Rapids, Wisc., and Ballwin and Licking.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold Olson.

Survivors include three children, Rana Maracle of Phoeniz, Ariz., Donzel Shoults of Overland and Danica Gargus of Manchester; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, LaVonne “Olson” Beenken of Streator, Ill.; and two brothers, Terry Olson of Bentonville, Ark., and Dr. Darwin Olson of Tulsa, Okla.

Services were Thursday, Oct. 3, at Grace Community Church in Salem. Burial was in North Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
