It looks the week may start out soggy, the National Weather Service says.
The sound of mowers could be heard Sunday as homeowners attempted to get caught up with grass that has grown out of control since last week’s flooding.
Heavy rain is expected today, according to the National Weather Service, which has placed the region under a flash flood watch.
The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, and some storms could produce heavy rainfall. The expected high is 84 degrees.
Showers and thunderstorms are also likely tonight into Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday’s forecast high is 82 degrees.
Things are expected to clear up by Wednesday, with partly sunny and partly cloudy conditions the rest of the week.
