Carol Ann Scantlin was born in Willow Springs, Mo., to Charlie and Velma Glickert on March 6, 1942. She met and married Garnold Scantlin of Ashley Creek, Mo., on June 17, 1960. Carol and Garnold have four children, Roxanna, Johnny, Tommy and Billy.
Carol was an accomplished artist, homemaker and gardener, spending her time with her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Carol loved her family, friends and animals endlessly, living life to the fullest.
We miss her more than we can say. She will live forever in our hearts. We love you, Carol.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Snelling officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Curtis, Jake Scantlin, James Scantlin, Jonathan Scantlin, William Scantlin and Tom Scantlin. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
