A Plato passenger was injured Sunday afternoon in a crash at Highway 28 and U.S. 63 in Maries County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Harley Davidson motorcycle pulled from a stop sign into the path of a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Robert E. Peetz, 26, of St. Robert.
A passenger in Peetz’s vehicle, Victoria Khan, 22, of Plato, was transported with minor injuries to Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City.
The Tennessee motorcyclist and his passenger had serious injuries and were taken to hospitals in Columbia and Jefferson City, respectively.
