Alice Inez Coffey, 89, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at a Springdale Ark., hospital.

She was born in Myerstown and lived in the area for many years. She was a homemaker and member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church of Fayetteville.

She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star in Houston and served as worthy matron twice and was the district grand marshall. She was a member and a past president of the Fleet Reserve Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell K. Coffey.

Survivors include a daughter, Peg Coffey of Fayetteville, Ark.; a son, Ralph Coffey of Waldron, Ark.; a sister, Peggy Daugherty of Ark.; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday, Aug. 20, at at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark.
