A construction project is nearing an end at Summersville, where a new library will more than double the space for residents in eastern Texas County.

The Summersville branch of the Texas County Library is seeking 100 volunteers Saturday to form a brigade to move books from the old location to the new facility.

The job begins at 10 a.m.

Children are encouraged to bring wagons, and adults can bring their wheelbarrows. Each volunteer will receive a personalized book bag as a remembrance of the special day.
