Bonnie “Linda” Malinda Plowman, 88, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013.
She was born July 28, 1924, in Shannon County, daughter of Lewis Joseph and Bessie Jane Plowman Duncan. She and Sylvan Moses were married July 18, 1943. She later married Kenneth Plowman on June 30, 1955.
She was an active member of the Summersville First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Summersville Auxiliary Post 7222.
In September 2008, she moved from Summersville to Houston to be near her daughter, Marylyn Kay, and granddaughter, Malinda.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; an infant son, Jerry Dorvan Moses; two great-grandchildren; her parents; six sisters, Maude, Nancy, Lillian, Jane, Marie and Alice; and three brothers, Lewis, Leonard and Bill Duncan.
Survivors include a daughter, Marylyn Kay Douglas; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Services were Sunday, Feb. 24, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Boyd officiating. Burial was in Midvale Cemetery.
