Published in the land of the Piney rivers, The Messenger blankets Texas County, as well as parts of Phelps and Dent counties with a circulation of 10,100 households. The deadline is 5 p.m. Friday. The Herald has 4,000 subscribers and is the region’s largest circulating weekly newspaper, arriving in mailboxes and in-boxes on Thursdays. Classified ads also appear in The Licking News. The deadline is 10 a.m. Tuesday. All print ads also appear on the Herald’s website with special interactive features. Separately, the Houston Herald assists businesses with all phases of digital – website creation, social media and website ad placement reaching local readers.
