JARVIS DEAN BLACK

Jarvis Dean Black of Rolla, Mo. passed away suddenly on June 6, 2023, at the age of 54. Jarvis was born in Rolla on March 27, 1969, to the late Gary and Brenda Black. 

EDITH OPAL NEAL DANIELS

Edith Opal Neal Daniels, Mountain Grove, Mo., was born Dec. 19, 1929, to Nolan and Delia (Pittman) Neal on the family farm at Success, Mo., and departed this world on June 3, 2023, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield Mo., following hip surgery. She was 93 years old. 

SHIRLEY JUNE GOLDSMITH

Shirley June Goldsmith was born on June 17, 1938 in Plato, Mo. to Wm Jess Wallace and Edna Ann (Pearcy) Wallace. She went to be with Jesus on June 1, 2023 in Bay City, Mich.

MEREDITH “JANE” BOHANNON WADE

Meredith “Jane” Bohannon Wade, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 26, 2023, after she passed away peacefully in her sleep.

DARYL COY WALBERG

Daryl Coy Walberg was born on July 29, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo. to James Alvin and Polly Ruth (Holden) Walberg. He passed away on May 29, 2023, in Licking, Mo.

Orchestra plans Willow Springs performance

The Southern Ozarks Community Orchestra will perform 7 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Star Theatre in Houston. Several members are from Texas County, including director Jodie Forbes.
