Goldie Darlene Moore, 55, daughter of Oliver and Lucy Shepherd, was born May 12, 1945, near Licking. She died Jan. 21, 2001, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla after a battle with cancer. She married William Robert “”Bill”” Fielder August 1961. He died July 4, 1976. She worked at Rawlings Sporting Goods in Licking for more than 25 years. Her hobbies included reading, watching TV, listening to music and fishing. In addition to Mr. Fielder, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Karl Fielder; one stepson, Stanton Garrett; and three brothers, George, Henry and Ed Shepherd. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Dean Moore of Roby; her children, William Keith Fielder of Licking, Kevin Wayne and Melinda Darleen Fielder of Mountain Grove, and Wanda Kay Crist of Nehalem, Ore.; her sisters, Ruby Walker, Fay Trolinger, Sylvia Blankenship and May Blankenship of Licking; one brother, Bob Shepherd of Licking; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Services are 2 o’clock today (Thursday) at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Patterson Cemetery.”
