Lloyd E. Crum, 67, son of Hershel and Juanita Crum, was born July 12, 1933, at Raymondville. He died Jan. 25, 2001, at Salt Lake City, Utah. About five months ago he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. He grew up at Raymondville and attended Split Limb and Licking schools. He served in the Army from Oct. 7, 1953, until July 27, 1955, and was in the reserves until 1961. He married Glenda Rae Robinson June 12, 1957, at Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Crum worked for the Kennecott Copper mine for 40 years. After retiring, he was a school crossing guard. He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Carl and Don Crum; and one sister, Edith Crum. Surviving are his wife of Salt Lake City; one son, Gary, of Salt Lake; his mother of Raymondville; two brothers, Elbert Crum of Licking and Robert Crum of Raymondville; four sisters, Pearl Blegarde of Bakersfield, Calif., Alpha Davis of Salt Lake City, Marjorie Garrison of Raymondville and Nadine Chambers of Licking. Services were Jan. 29 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel with burial at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.”
