Earl Dean Cummins, 68, son of Otto and Mildred Agee Cummins, was born Aug. 7, 1933, at Raymondville. He died June 12, 2002, at St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield. He married Norma Cotton Sept. 15, 1953. They had two daughters. Mr. Cummins enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and hunting. He was baptized at an early age and attended Northside Baptist Church. He lived most of his life at Raymondville except for two years in the army during the Korean War. In addition to raising cattle and farming, he was a truck driver, mechanic and equipment opera-tor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of the home; two daughters, Joni Sillyman of Raymondville and Debbie Dzurick of Licking; one sister, Bettie Horton of Raymondville; one brother, Carl Cummins; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Services were June 15 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery. “
