Lena Mae Lemmons Pratt, 87, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Lemmons and Martha Pearl Richardson Lemmons, was born Oct. 12, 1914, at Raymondville. She died June 25, 2002, at Licking Park Manor, where she had been a resident since 1994. She had polio as a small child, which left her leg paralyzed and was eventually amputated. She graduated from Licking High, the only one in her family of 13 to do so. She at-tended two years of business college and began her career and established a home in the St. Louis area. In later years, she moved to Houston, retired and moved to Raymondville to care for her father until his death. She then moved to Licking. She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from early childhood. She loved gardening, canning, piecing and quilting by hand. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and 11 sisters. Surviving are one son, Stanford Leon Pratt of Hillsboro; one sister, Thelma Hendricks of Orem, Utah; a stepbrother, Tommy Hornecker; and three grandchildren. Services were June 28 at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Echols and Jerry Rennick officiat-ing. Burial was in the Allen Cemetery at Raymondville. “
