Arthur Lee Poor, 77, son of William W. and Mary C. Poor, was born Aug. 11, 1924, at Rolla. He died July 10, 2002, at Hesperia, Calif. Mr. Poor had lived in the Hesperia area for 47 years. He was a carpenter lead man for the Ontario-Montclear School District, retiring after 26 years. He enjoyed wood-working and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Eula; three sons, Rodney Kim, Gary Lee and Kevin Dale; two sisters, Dottie Strickel of Overland and Mary N. Baker of Houston; one brother, Clyde Poor of Overland; and six grandchildren. Memorial services were July 22 at the Riverside National Cemetery under the direction of Arlington Mortuary of Riverside. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Care. “
