Kenneth L. Ramsey, 81, son of Robert and Arminda Linda Baker Ramsey, was born March 30, 1921, at Licking. He died July 10, 2002 at St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield. He married Viola Suggs Sept. 6, 1942. They had two daughters. Mr. Ramsey served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He re-ceived a Purple Heart, four Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. His tour began in 1943 in Central Europe and ended in 1945 in Northern France. He retired from Darigold Milk Processing Co. in Centralia, Wash. He was an outdoors man who en-joyed nature, sunrises and garden-ing. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers. Surviving are his wife of the home; two daughters, Kandy Frazier of Ozark and Linda Beesley of Centralia, Wash.; one brother, Athol Ramsey of Houston; one sis-ter, Ruth Stienbarger of Licking; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services were July 13 at the Barnes Family Funeral Home at Ozark with Kim Huckaba officiating. Burial with full military hon-ors was in the Sparta Cemetery. “
