JESSIE PHILLIPS

Jessie M. Phillips, 63, daughter of George Hamilton Hall and Mary Margaret Everett Hall, was born March 15, 1939, in St. Louis. She died Aug. 19, 2002, at her home at Licking after a battle with cancer. She married Robert Phillips Sr. June 3, 1957. They had six children. Mrs. Phillips was a devout Christian and attended the Anutt Full Gospel Church. She was a care giver for home health. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one brother, Johnny Hall. Surviving are her children, Robert Phillips Jr. of Dresden, Tenn., George Phillips of St. Louis, Josepth Phillips of the home, Theresa Phillips of Pensacola, Fla., and Cheryl Nelson and Julie Hazen of Licking; two brothers, Danny Hall of Mountain View and David Hall of Oklahoma; one sister, Julia Sansom of Mountain View; a special aunt, Julia Hembrook of Festus; and nine grandchildren. Services were Aug. 21 at the Anutt Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Don Case officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. “
