Jennetta Mae Goodin, 83, daughter of James Cleveland Cloninger and Larura Ann Derryberry Cloninger, was born Sept. 7, 1918, at Hartshorn. She died Aug. 8, 2002, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center at Elk Grove Village, Ill. She married John Edward Goodin Sept. 8, 1947. They were married 29 years before his death Dec. 8, 1976. They had five children. Mrs. Goodin grew up in the Hartshorn/Summersville area, moving to the Chicago, Ill., area after her marriage. She was a member of the Schaumburg Church of Christ. In recent years, she spent her time in Illinois and Texas with her children and grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Homer Cloninger and George Cloninger; three sisters, Ruby Bolton, Gertrude Connolly and Juanita Cloninger; and one son, David Goodin. Surviving are her children, Chet Goodin of Roselle, Ill., Anita Neil of Hanover Park, Ill., Norma Greer and Lois Goodin of Rowlett, Texas; two sis-ters, Mary Lee Goodin of Summersville and Virginia Faye Foster of Jefferson City; 11 grand-children and two great-grandchil-dren. Services were Aug. 11 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with Earl Goodin and Bill Fleenor officiating. Burial was in the Summersville Cemetery. “
