Minnie Jesse Ford White, 77, daughter of Taylor Wilson Ford and Lou Ellen Huffmen, was born July 15, 1925, at Cabool. She died Aug. 7, 2002, at her home at High Ridge. She had been ill for some time. She married David Freeman White May 20, 1941. They had seven children. Mrs. White was a housewife and liked to cook. Everyone loved her homemade biscuits. She was a member of the Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Roy Ford, Bill Ford, Bob Ford, Jess Ford and Raymond Ford; and sisters, Ada Fielden, Edna Hicks, Ollie Hicks and Pearl White. Surviving are four sons, David Jr., James, LeRoy and Vick White of High Ridge; three daughters, Ada Valentine and Gladys White of High Ridge and Bessie McCabe of Valley Park; three sisters, Mary, May and Edith; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Aug. 10 at the Cabool Cemetery with the Rev. John Lacy officiating under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home of Cabool. “
