Nelda Sue Molder Murray, 53, daughter of Jack and Eloise Dykes West Collins, was born Jan. 29, 1949, at Simmons. She died Aug. 29, 2002, at her home at Independence. She attended grade school at Houston. Mrs. Murray was an employee and advocate of the Sunshine Center in Independence. She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Lisa Muzingo. Surviving are her husband, Ray Murray of Independence; a son, Brian Molder of Independence; her stepson, Alan Murray of Independence; her mother and step-father, Eloise and Bob Collins; two brothers, Mike West of Ardmore, Okla., and Jay Collins of Independence; a sister, Sherri Hendricks of Independence; 4 grand-children and two step-grandchildren. Services were Sept. 3 at New Salem Funeral Home in Independence with the Rev. Douglas Aldridge officiating. Burial was in the Blue Springs Cemetery. “
