Iona Mae Roark, 71, daughter of Earl McAdams and Lucille Wingfield McAdams, was born March 19, 1931, at Marshall. She died Oct. 13, 2002, at Mountain View Heathcare. She married C.W. Roark Nov. 9, 1946. They were married 52 years and had four daughters. Mrs. Roark was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View and had attended Oakside Church in her early life. She was a collector of antiques and enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lucy Summers. Surviving are her husband, Bill of Summersville; four daughters, Pam Crabtree of Springfield, Pat White of St. Louis, Pennie Woolsey and Billie Kay Roark of Summersville; three brothers, David McAdams of Summersville, Elmer McAdams of Alton, Ill., and Joel McAdams of Sardis, Miss; one sister, Velma Sellers of Southhaven, Miss.; nine grandchil-dren and three great-grandchildren. Services were Oct. 16 at the Oakside Church with the Rev. Rick Spacek officiating. Burial was in the Oakside Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville. “
