Maxine Taylor, 74, daughter Shields and Susie Crabtree Pyatt, was born Nov. 27, 1927, at Licking. She died Nov. 16, 2002, at Buffalo, Iowa. She married David A. Taylor Nov. 17, 1945, at Hannibal. They had two sons. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 7, 2002, and her parents. Surviving are her sons, F.L. “”Bill”” Taylor of Davenport, Iowa, and Ronald Taylor of Friendship, Wis.; four brothers, Carl Amburn of Raymondville, Bill Amburn of Glencoe and Floyd and Lloyd Amburn of Licking; seven sisters, Mary Edgemond of Houston, Pearl Hinton of Licking, Ruthine Mesplay and Vivian Wildes of Davenport, Iowa, Helen Kimmy of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Lois Layton and Wilma Bast of St. Louis; seven grandchildren and two great-grand-children. Services were Nov. 21 at Calvary Lutheran Church at Buffalo, Iowa, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Buffalo. “
