EDNA WALLS

Edna F. Walls, 81, daughter of Lance B. and Florence Smith, was born July 2, 1922, at Memphis, Tenn. She died Jan. 1, 2004, at the Kabul Nursing Home. She married Warren Walls June 4, 1941. They had three sons and lived on a farm in the Mount Pisgah community before moving to Cabool in 1977. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping others. She had been a member of the Mount Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church since 1941. She was an active member of the Mount Pisgah Ladies Aid as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband of 62 years; her sons, Dennis of Cabool, Roy Dean of Richardson, Texas, and Gary of Florissant; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were Jan. 3 at the Mount Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Douglas officiating. Burial was in the Mount Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home of Cabool. “
