Esther M. Moulton, 90, daughter of Charlie Shinaut and Mary Margaret Adamson Shinaut, was born Oct. 15, 1913, at North Star, Neb. She died Jan. 5, 2004, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. She married George Clifford Moulton June 3, 1934, at Sterling, Colo. They had five children. The Moultons moved to Texas County near Simmons in 1937. Until her illness in September, Mrs. Moulton enjoyed going to the First Baptist Church, where she was a member; socializing with friends and doing volunteer work at the Houston Senior Center. She loved to bake, cook, grow flowers, go out for breakfast with friends, play dominoes with her neighbors and have a hot game of rummy. She delighted in visits from her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Charles Albert Moulton and William Earl Moulton; her parents, four brothers and two grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Mary Lou Downing and Dale Moulton of Houston and Clifford LeRoy Moulton of Weston, Fla.; one brother, Steve Stillman of Sterling, Colo; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services are 10 o’clock Friday morning at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kendall Ford and the Rev. Ben Gard officiating. Burial will be in the Cabool Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 7 o’clock tonight (Thursday) at the Evans chapel. Memorials may be made to the Houston Senior Center. “
