Leora Nallena York Krewson, 81, daughter of Marion York and Hattie Nelson York, was born Sept. 29, 1922, at Licking. She died Jan. 14, 2004, at Licking Park Manor in Licking. Mrs. Krewson worked at the Rawlings factory for 20 years. She was an avid horsewoman. She and her horse, Sun Down, carried the flag in the Licking Christmas parade for 20 years. She was a member of the Licking Church of Christ and the Summersville-Licking-Salem Saddle Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Krewson; two sons, Larry and Doyle; two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her sons, Don and Bill of Licking; one sister, Aileen Wofford of Licking; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two special friends, Howard Morton and Sue Hinkle. Services were Jan. 17 at the Church of Christ in Licking with Larry Tubbs officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking. “
