Lester Breedlove, 62, son of Earnest and Leona Brooks Breedlove, was born Oct. 8, 1941, near Plato. He died Jan. 7, 2004, at Lester E. Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. He spent most of his life in the Bucyrus community and worked at Independent Stave Mill at Lebanon. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Surviving are his wife, Julie McKee Breedlove; two sons, Lester Breedlove Jr. of Success and Hank Breedlove of Falcon; two daughters, Pamela Cooley and Lisa Jane Tucker of Bucyrus; four brothers, Leo and Vernon of Roby, Donnie of Bucyrus and Daniel of Lynchburg; one sister, Joyce Carmack of Roby; Richard and Paula Blackburn, who were like his children; and five grandchildren. Graveside services were Jan. 12 at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Garner officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. “
