Ralph Morgan, 65, of Modesto, Calif., an architectural designer, died Jan. 16, 2004, after a long bout with cancer. Born at Houston in 1938, Mr. Morgan left with his family the summer of 1953 after completing his freshman year at Houston High School. He was a graduate engineer of the University of California at Berkley and opened an engineering-architectural firm in 1968. His mother for several years was a teacher at the Cleveland School south of Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Elsie Morgan; and a sister, Dawn. Surviving are a wife, two children, a stepson and four grandchildren. “
