Barbara Jean Bowyer, 70, of North Fort Myers, Fla., died Feb. 22, 2004. A retired upholsterer for Custom Workroom, she had lived in Florida for the last 40 years and spent part time at Raymondville for the last three years. She was a former New York resident. She enjoyed her poodles and playing slot machines. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Caraotta of North Fort Myers, Fla.; a son, Bruce Pelaquin of Raymondville; two brothers, Albert Knapp and Berry Knapp; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body was cremated. Services and burial are in Florida. “
