Herman H. Wisdom, 82, son of Robert W. Wisdom and Margaret A. MacAslan Wisdom, was born June 21, 1921, at Lake Charles, La. He died Feb. 10, 2004, at his home near Willow Springs. He married Naomi Miller of Cabool in 1953. They lived at Escondido and Garden Grove, Calif. Mr. Wisdom was a member of the Escondido Mounted Police Posse. The Wisdoms later moved to Grand Junction, Colo., where he was a state agriculture inspector. He raised and showed Morgan horses. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. The Wisdoms moved to Poplar Bluff in 1976, where he opened a health-food store. He was farm director for the KJEZ radio station before he retired. Mr. Wisdom was a member of the United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Harold Wisdom. Surviving are his wife, cousins and nieces and nephews. Services were Feb. 14 at the Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Brown officiating. Burial was in the Willow Springs City Cemetery. “
