Joyce June Snyder, 77, daughter of Thomas Beckley and Mignon Riggs, was born June 14, 1926, at St. Louis. She died March 20, 2004, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. She married Jasper Snyder March 9, 1946, at St. Louis. They had three children. Mrs. Snyder was a homemaker, enjoying sewing, painting pictures, cake decorating and watching hummingbirds. She was a licensed vocational nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Steven Richard Snyder. Surviving are a son, David Snyder of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Sharon Cooke of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; a sister, Joan McKenzie of Jackson; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services were March 26 at the Hutchason Cemetery with Wayne Strohschein officiating under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking. “
