Claude T. Fowler, 79, son of Thomas and Eva Looney Fowler, was born April 23, 1924, at Rumbar. He died April 15, 2004, at his home at Licking. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After the war, he worked for five years for Buick and 25 years for General Motors. He retired in 1977 and moved to Licking. He was a lifetime member of Licking Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6337. His favorite pastimes were barbecuing with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are two sons, Claude Thomas Jr. of Florissant and William of O’Fallon; a daughter, Patricia Anderson of Licking; a sister, Mabel Seda of Afton; and four grandchildren. The body was cremated under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking. “
