Paul Dean Aldridge, 67, son of Joseph J. Aldridge and Burnice Geisler Aldridge, was born April 30, 1936, at Tyrone. He died April 16, 2004, at his home at Tyrone. He accepted Christ as his savior and attended the Baptist and Seventh Day Adventist churches. He married Louise Lay Feb. 28, 1959. Mr. Aldridge worked at area sawmills and for Southern Missouri Gas Co. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and being with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Delmar and Oral Aldridge. Surviving are his wife of 45 years of the home; two sons, Lyndel Aldridge and Joe Aldridge of Elk Creek; one daughter, Deana Kelts of Summersville; one brother, Bob Aldridge of Springfield; three sisters, Vernetta Swartz of California, Maxine Newberry of Rolla and Marie Grogan of Willow Springs; three grandchildren, two great-grandsons with two great-granddaughters on the way; and special friends, Lance Alton, Bill Walker and the crew at Southern Missouri Gas. Services were April 19 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norman Orr officiating. Burial was in the Tyrone Cemetery. “
