David Thomas Eavenson, 58, son of James and Frances Eavenson, was born April 9, 1946. He died May 4, 2004, at Columbia. He was a life-long carpenter and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Irene Bohlemeyer. Surviving are his mother of Boise, Idaho; one son, David Eavenson II of Fort Drum, N.Y.; one daughter, Terra Welch of Ashland; three brothers, William Eavenson of Success, Ralph Eavenson of Alburn, Calif., and James Eavenson of Cascade, Idaho; one sister, Mary Eavenson of Boise, Idaho; and four grandchildren. Memorial services are 2 o’clock Friday at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. “
