Robin L. Van Lengen, 47, son of Marvin L. Van Lengen and Beverly J. Van Lengen, was born Nov. 26, 1956, at Mason City, Iowa. He died May 20, 2004, at his home near Houston after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He grew up in Iowa and Wisconsin and moved to the San Jose, Calif., area in 1980. He moved to Houston in January 2002. He was preceded in death by his father in August 1984. Surviving are his mother of Houston; brothers, Henry L. Van Lengen of Elizabethtown, Ky., and M.L. Van Lengen of Houston; sisters, Lois Thomas of Marshalltown, Iowa, Billi Jo Folbrecht of Hampton, Iowa, and Jamie Hefty of Wilmar, Minn. Memorial services are June 19 at Northside Baptist Church. The body was donated to research. “
