Evert Hubert Grogan, 78, son of John Tom and Ola Grogan, was born April 11, 1926. He died June 2, 2004, at his home at Cabool. Mr. Grogan spent most of his life in the Willow Springs and Cabool areas. He married Leona Brown. They had two children. He was preceded in death by his parents; 10 brothers and one sister, Harvey Grogan, Clarence Grogan, Earl Grogan, Jim Grogan, Fred Grogan, Noah Grogan, Marion Grogan, Roy Grogan, Virgil Gordon, Fred Gordon, Ethel Osborn and Lucy May Grogan; and one grandson. Surviving are his children, Marie Crow of California and Dale Grogan of Columbia, Ill.; sister, Ethel Osborn of Kirksville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The body was cremated. Memorial services are 1:30 Sunday at Emmett Kelly Park in Houston. Burial will be at a later date in the Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to a favorite charity, church or Gideons International. “
