Beatrice “”Bea”” Elaine Price Ryan, 66, daughter of Blanche Agee VanDeusen and Edgar Price, was born Nov. 24, 1937, in Chicago, Ill. She died July 7, 2004, following a lengthy illness. She attended school in Houston and for many years was a puppeteer, doing art work and performing in Missouri, Indiana and Illinois.In 1969, she moved to Orlando, Fla., where she was a portrait artist for Disney World. She later was commissioned by Howard Johnson’s to paint murals of Florida’s Indian chiefs in their hotel lobbies.She married George Ryan in 1980.She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997; her son, Darwin; parents and one sister, Charlotte VanDeusen.Surviving are four sisters, her twin, Barbara Burkhart of Orlando, Fla.; Sheila Ramsbottom of Montague, Calif., Blanche Archer and Georgia Maxwell of Jamesport; two brothers, Robert Price of Morgantown, Ind., and Jerry Price of Dennison, Texas; a stepbrother, Larry VanDeusen of Licking; and a stepsister, Shirley Umfleet of Licking.Services were July 12 at the First Baptist Church in Maitland, Fla., with burial in the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell. “
