Ernest “”Ernie”” George Neuman, 75, son of Roy and Millie Wilson Neuman, was born Dec. 22, 1928, at Bisbee, Ariz. He died July 30, 2004, at Porterville Hospital in Porterville, Calif.He was a retired sheet metal worker and moved to the Summersville area in the late 1980s. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church Sept. 23, 1990, where he attended. He and his wife, Wanda, were active in the Summersville community.After he became ill, he moved to Porterville, Calif., to live with his daughter. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Porterville.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.Surviving are three children, Ellen Brady of Porterville, Calif., Leroy Neuman of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joni Hill of Kennesaw, Ga.; two sisters, Betty Caston of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gayleen Beachboard of Carson City, Nev.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Graveside services are 9 o’clock today (Thursday) at the Summersville City Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Jester officiating under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.Memorials may be made to Hunting’s Foundation. “
