Jesse Dwayne Harris, 53, son of Dameral Frank Harris and Annie Bea Lane Harris, was born Dec. 18, 1950, at Kirbyville, Texas. He died July 10, 2004, at his home at Hartshorn.He was a 1970 graduate of Magnolia High school in Magnolia, Texas, where he was captain and quarterback of the football team. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged May 29, 1975. He was a truck driver for more than 30 years.He married Cheryl Alisa Peebles Dec. 22, 1970. They had three children, Yvette, Michelle and Judd. They couple later separated.He married Linda Bernadine Rose Sept. 30, 1980. Her daughter, Crystal, was joined by their three children, Candace, Darryl and Tanya.He liked to spend time horseback riding, barbecuing, camping and spending time with family and friends. A favorite pastime was coon hunting.He was preceded in death by his father; and one son, Judd Dewayne Harris.Surviving are his wife of the home at Hartshorn; six children, Yvette Marie Petrey, Michelle Renee Terrell and Darryl Frank Harris of Summersville, Crystal Dawn Chilton of Springfield, Candace Rae Harris of Branson and Tanya Alisa Harris of the home; his mother of Ozark; one brother, Frank Allen Harris of Hartshorn; three sisters, Doyce McKinley of Ozark, Dee Giles of Rogersville and Cindy Labbee of West Plains; and three grandchildren.Services were July 13 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dorvan Stringer officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery at Hartshorn. “
