Lloyd Clinton Nelson, 72, eldest son of Delbert D. and Iva Shipp Nelson, was born July 10, 1932, at Montauk. He died Aug. 3, 2004, at his home.He graduated from Licking High School in 1950 and served two years overseas in the Army. He worked for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis before returning to Licking.He was a faithful Christian.He was preceded in death by his parents.Surviving are his wife, Patsy, of the home; daughter, Cheri Kenyon of Clearwater, Fla.; son, David of Lebanon; brothers, Doyle and Jim of Licking; four grandchildren and several special friends.Services were Aug. 5 at the Licking Church of Christ with Larry Tubbs officiating. Burial with full military honors was in the Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking. “
