Olive B. Brannam, 67, daughter of Charles Van and Ella Mae Shipp Perryman, was born April 10, 1937, at Raymondville. She died Aug. 30, 2004, at Lester E. Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.She married Lester Brannam May 25, 1955. They had five daughters.Mrs. Brannam accepted the Lord Jesus as her Savior at age 12. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church.She worked at Texas County Memorial Hospital for 36.5 years, retiring Oct. 4, 2002.Her favorite things were gardening, sewing, making homemade dish cloths, breads and jams and quilting. She enjoyed reading.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jan. 20, 2003; and an infant daughter, Leslie Denise.Surviving are her daughters, Nora Jean Wingard of Umatilla, Fla., Debbie Ann Brannam of Bucyrus, Kathy Lynne Brocato of Winder, Ga., and Anita Dawn Matthews of Evening Shade; one brother, Joe Perryman of Houston; three sisters, Jane Kirkwood and Betty Cooper of Houston and Patsy Foutch of Peoria, Ill.; four grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and one step-great-granddaughter.Services are 10 o’clock today (Thursday) at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Maurice Allen and the Rev. Kenneth Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Central Baptist Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the Texas County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. “
